As THE PROFESSIONAL FIGHTERS LEAGUE prepared to relaunch as a new competitive MMA fighting league in early 2018, we were tasked with collaborating in the rebranding efforts for the new league. Unlike other MMA organizations, PFL's season consists of a regular season, playoffs, and a championship night. With a roster of 72 fighters and a purse of over $10 million to be awarded to the top fighters in six weight classes, PFL aimed to place itself among the top competitive professional sports leagues in the nation. Our goal here at DREGOS was to create a new brand look that would stand out in the very crowded space of professional sports. Understanding the client's need for a heavy digital presence, we created a mark with the versatility to perform well in both traditional and digital media.
